Ryzza Mae Dizon took in stride the long-running online joke comparing her to Toph Beifong from “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
In a recently released video by Netflix Philippines, Dizon looked back at some of her most memorable photos, from her childhood to the present, and rated each one.
Among the pictures she reviewed was her now-iconic 1×1 ID photo, which became a popular meme online and is often referred to by netizens as the “resume photo.” Dizon gave it a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

She also rated a childhood photo of herself wearing a Chinese-inspired costume and another taken during her senior high school graduation.
The surprise came when the fourth image shown was not a photo of Dizon, but Toph Beifong from the animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
Confused at first, Dizon joked, “Teka, ako ba ’to? Nag-ganitong costume ba ako before? Teka lang po Team Ryzza. Parang nalilito ako.”
She then realized it was the fan-favorite Earthbender whom many internet users have compared to her recently.

“Gets ko na kung bakit niyo sinasabing magkamukha kami dahil nga sa eyes, sa bangs,” she said.
The comparison between Dizon and Toph has become a running joke among Filipino netizens. It gained traction after Netflix announced that Miya Cech had been cast as Toph in the second season of the live-action adaptation of “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” Fans flooded social media with humorous posts pretending to congratulate Dizon for “landing” the role.
Meanwhile, Dizon laughing off the Toph comparison came days after she became the subject of online discussion over a joke made by Kim Chiu that appeared to reference the former’s physical appearance.
Dizon rose to fame after winning “Little Miss Philippines” in 2012 on “Eat Bulaga!,” where she later became one of the program’s youngest full-time hosts.
