The season finale of “Dutton Ranch” debuts on July 3, and there is plenty of action — including one big beatdown we can debut on Variety.
In the clip, Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) forces her way into the 10 Petal Ranch slaughterhouse facility owned by Beulah Jackson (Annette Bening) and has some choice words for the office manager, Denise (Maritza Guerrero), who is just trying to do her job. It’s classic Beth!
Once inside, she’s confronted by Tommy (James Eddie), who stupidly grabs her to escort her out. Luckily, Rip (Cole Hauser) is there to kick his ass. It’s classic Rip!
“Dutton Ranch” was recently renewed for a second season, and a new showrunner was announced. This season has focused on Beth, Rip and their adopted son Carter (Finn Little) as they moved to Texas and got involved in the business of the 10 Petal Ranch.
Earlier this season, Reilly spoke to Variety about sustaining the onscreen chemistry she built with Hauser over five seasons of “Yellowstone,” before spinning off their romance into this new series.
“I don’t think chemistry is something you create: You either have or you don’t,” she said. “When we were first cast in ‘Yellowstone,’ Taylor Sheridan had seen something in us individually and together that he thought would work. But the relationship and the vibe they have together has been one of my most favorite things about playing Beth. I don’t know how we keep it going, but it’s just on screen. We’re great friends in real life, and we take care of each other.”
