Top Russian defence official calls strengthening Black Sea Fleet’s capabilities 'priority'

MOSCOW, July 3. /TASS/. Enhancing the capabilities of the system for detecting and repelling enemy air attacks is one of the Black Sea Fleet’s top priorities, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov said during a working meeting at the fleet’s command post.

"The Russian defense minister noted that enhancing the combat capabilities of the coastal detection system, as well as the forces and means for repelling enemy air attacks and protecting military and civilian infrastructure facilities, is one of the top priorities," the ministry reported.

Upon completing his work at the command post, Belousov presented state awards to Black Sea Fleet servicemen who distinguished themselves while carrying out combat missions in the special military operation zone.
