MOSCOW, July 3. /TASS/. Russia’s Finance Ministry will allocate 123.2 bln rubles ($1.59 bln) for purchasing foreign currency and gold within the fiscal rule from July 7 to August 6, with daily transaction volume expected to amount to the equivalent of 5.4 bln rubles ($70 mln), the ministry reported.
"The total amount of funds allocated for the purchase of foreign currency and gold will be 123.2 bln rubles. The operations will be conducted from July 7, 2026, to August 6, 2026; accordingly, the daily volume of foreign currency and gold purchases will amount to the equivalent of 5.4 bln rubles," the report said.
Earlier reports said that the ministry would allocate 208.2 bln rubles for the purchase of foreign currency and gold under the fiscal rule from June 5 to July 6. The daily volume of operations amounts to 9.9 bln rubles in equivalent terms.
