An F1 and anime collaboration? What a great news for the racing and anime fans!
Hit Japanese anime television series ‘Dan Da Dan’ and Formula 1 team Atlassian Williams F1 Team excite fans as they revealed their iconic collaboration, alongside custom watch brand UNDONE. The collaboration is considered as the first major crossover between a Formula 1 team and a popular anime series.
The cross-over is expected to include a limited edition collection of custom watches, exclusive clothing, and special accessories designed according to the fast-paced world of racing and the fun and supernatural style of Dan Da Dan.
The collaboration was first teased before the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka earlier this year. More details will be revealed when the collection officially launches later this year.
Dan Da Dan producer Hiroshi Kamei expressed his anticipation about teaming up with Williams, calling the first-of-its-kind collaboration “exciting.” He added that he hopes it will bring both F1 fans and anime enthusiasts closer to the series, allowing them to experience it in fresh and exciting ways.
On the other hand, Williams is pumped up just as much. The team promised to offer a new totally fresh brand experience for F1’s increasingly diverse fanbase throughout the collaboration.
Iconic collab
In a social media post, the F1 team announced that the collaboration will be showcased at the Anime Expo 2026, which will be held at Los Angeles Convention Center from July 2 to 5, 2026.
Fans expressed their excitement, saying the collaboration was unexpected but they love it.
This is the most unexpected (but completely welcome) collaboration I’ve ever heard of.
