18-Year-Old Spanish Man Identified As Victim In Fatal St Julian’s Fall

The man who died after falling from a height in St Julian’s earlier today has been identified as an 18-year-old Spanish national.

The update was confirmed by the police this evening, following an earlier statement in which the victim’s identity had not yet been established.

The incident happened at around 7.30am in Vjal Portomaso, where preliminary investigations indicate the teenager fell from a height of approximately four storeys.

A medical team was called to the scene, but he was unfortunately certified dead on site.

A magisterial inquiry has been launched, while police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing.
