The SiGMA Foundation is set to host its first-ever 12-hour live fundraising telethon this Sunday, bringing its humanitarian work to national television for the first time.
Together, We Can will air tomorrow, 5th July, from 11am until 11pm across TVM, ONE, NET and Xejk, with the aim of raising funds while showcasing the Foundation’s projects and the communities it supports.
Since its launch, the SiGMA Foundation has carried out humanitarian initiatives across four continents and eight countries, including building schools in Uganda, supporting medical infrastructure in Guatemala, developing care homes in Peru’s Amazon region, providing vocational training for women in Ethiopia and funding equine-assisted therapy in Gozo.
Throughout the 12-hour broadcast, viewers will hear stories from people whose lives have been impacted by the Foundation’s work, while being invited to contribute to future projects.
The telethon marks the first time the Foundation has taken its fundraising efforts to a national audience, encouraging people across Malta to get involved and support its ongoing humanitarian mission.
