
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) elected three new directors while retaining Ramon Monzon as president and CEO and Jose T. Pardo as chair during its annual stockholders’ meeting.
The new board members are Jikyeong Kang, technology executive Niek Johan van Veen and investment executive Lorenzo Andres Roxas.

Monzon said Kang’s international experience would strengthen the exchange’s governance, while Van Veen’s expertise in information technology and artificial intelligence would advance the PSE’s digital transformation. Roxas replaces longtime director Wilson Sy.

The 15-member board also includes Ma. Vivian Yuchengco, Anthony M. Te, Eddie T. Gobing, Diosdado M. Arroyo, Jose Arnulfo A. Veloso, Marilyn A. Victorio-Aquino and Cecile C. Ang.
Independent directors are former transportation secretary Jaime J. Bautista, former trade secretary Peter B. Favila and retired chief justice Teresita J. Leonardo-de Castro. /oai INQ
