Ryzza Mae Dizon gave a polite shoutout to Kim Chiu after the former’s “Eat Bulaga” co-host, Joey de Leon, seemingly alluded to the “It’s Showtime” host’s recent joke about the younger actress-TV host.
During the Saturday, July 4-episode of “Eat Bulaga,” mainstay Vic Sotto shared that he is set to meet and talk to “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda.
Sotto’s announcement — which came amid speculations that two actors will be headlining an upcoming movie together — drew cheers from his fellow hosts Dizon, Maine Mendoza, Allan K and Miles Ocampo who were on the stage with him.

After Sotto made the announcement, de Leon then turned to Dizon and asked, “Ikaw Ryzza, kailan kayo mag-uusap ni Kim Chiu?” (How about you, Ryzza? When are you going to talk to Kim Chiu?)

Dizon just laughed it off, then looked at the camera and said, “Hello po! Shoutout,” addressing Chiu.
Allan was visibly surprised by de Leon’s quip, while Mendoza and Ocampo also gave a shoutout to Chiu.
Chiu was earlier criticized for blurting out a joke that referenced Dizon. In a recent episode of the “Lights, Camera, Act-Song” segment of the Kapamilya noontime show, Chiu quipped that her fellow host Jugs Jugueta, who was dressed Lotus Feet from the Filipino horror film “Feng Shui,” looked like Dizon.
Neither Dizon nor Chiu have publicly commented on the backlash as of this writing. /ra
