Medvedev conveys Putin’s condolences over Khamenei’s death to Pezeshkian
MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said he conveyed condolences from Russian leader Vladimir Putin to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during a meeting in Tehran.
Medvedev, who led the Russian delegation that visited Iran to attend the funeral ceremony for Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, made the remarks while speaking to journalists following the visit.
"I had a conversation with President Pezeshkian, and I also conveyed words of condolence from the Russian president," Medvedev said.
