One of Malta’s most recognisable chefs could be teaming up with the Armed Forces of Malta.
Chef Letizia Vella recently visited the AFM’s Luqa Barracks, with the Armed Forces teasing that a special collaboration is set to be revealed in the near future.
Sharing the news on social media, the AFM said it “had the pleasure of welcoming Chef Letizia Vella to Luqa Barracks for a special event”, while keeping the details firmly under wraps.
Instead, the military hinted that followers won’t have to wait too long to find out what the visit was all about.
“Stay tuned to our social media platforms because something truly special is coming soon,” the AFM wrote.
Vella is one of Malta’s best-known chefs and the owner of The Golden Fork, a Michelin-recognised restaurant. She is also a familiar face to many as a judge on the Maltese edition of MasterChef.
For now, the nature of the collaboration remains a mystery, but the AFM’s teaser has already sparked curiosity online.
What do you think the collaboration will be?
