United States pop star Taylor Swift and National Football League player Travis Kelce have officially tied the knot in a lavish wedding held at Madison Square Garden in New York, drawing hundreds of guests, including several global celebrities.
The highly anticipated ceremony took place on Friday during the United States’ 250th Independence Day weekend, following weeks of intense speculation surrounding the couple’s wedding plans.
Confirming the wedding, Swift’s longtime publicist, Tree Paine, disclosed details of the intimate ceremony, revealing that the couple opted against having traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen.
“Taylor and Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’s Best Man,” Paine said in a statement.
She added that “the ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
According to Paine, Swift wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture wedding gown paired with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewellery, while Kelce also wore a Dior-designed outfit.

Shortly before the announcement, giant digital screens outside Madison Square Garden displayed the message, “JUST&T MARRIED!”, confirming the couple’s union to cheering fans gathered outside the venue.
Ahead of the ceremony, hundreds of Swift fans, popularly known as Swifties, gathered outside the arena hoping to catch a glimpse of the couple and celebrity guests despite heavy security and non-disclosure agreements reportedly signed by attendees.
Among those spotted arriving at the wedding were Gigi Hadid, Hugh Grant, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Benson Boone and Camila Cabello.
The celebration reportedly continued late into the night with performances expected from Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw, while Ed Sheeran was also rumoured to perform during the reception.
In addition to the celebrations, Swift’s spokesperson announced that the couple donated $26 million to various charities across the United States, including organisations in New York and Kansas City, to commemorate the occasion.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025 after nearly two years of dating. Their relationship has remained one of the most closely followed celebrity romances, attracting widespread attention from fans across the world.
