
BAGUIO CITY — Philippine Military Academy (PMA) cadets honored Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. with a testimonial parade on Saturday, July 4, just ahead of his official retirement on July 20, which concludes his three-year tour of duty.

An alumnus and the salutatorian of the PMA “Makatao” Class of 1989, Brawner became the military’s 60th chief of staff following his appointment in July 2023.
The 58-year-old soldier was born and raised in Baguio by the late Court of Appeals Presiding Justice Romeo Brawner Sr. and the late University of the Philippines Baguio professor Lenora Fe Brawner, one of the original faculty of the Baguio campus. /das
