MELITOPOL, July 4. /TASS/. The number of civilians injured in a Ukrainian strike on a market in Tokmak in the Zaporozhye Region has risen to 21, the regional Health Ministry said.
Earlier, Governor Yevgeny Balitsky reported five killed and 18 injured.
"Thirteen people have been hospitalized with injuries of moderate and mild severity. Three with minor injuries are receiving outpatient treatment. The condition of four patients is assessed as stably severe. One injured person has been transferred from intensive care to a ward with positive dynamics," the ministry said in a message on Max.
The regional Health Ministry added that specialists from the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine of the Russian Health Ministry are assisting with the treatment of the injured through telemedicine consultations.
A Ukrainian drone deliberately struck a city market in the frontline town of Tokmak on July 3. A criminal case has been opened on terrorism charges, and July 4 has been declared a day of mourning for the dead in the Tokmak district.
