Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s Vows and More Wedding Details Revealed

Selena Gomez made the whole place shimmer at Taylor Swift’s wedding.

Indeed, the Only Murders in the Building star served up a bejeweled look during the “Opalite” singer’s wedding to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden in New York City July 3.

For the occasion, Gomez donned a gold figure-hugging gown featuring intricate crystal detailing. To help the dress stand out even further, the Disney Channel alum kept her accessories at a minimum as she paired the get-up with Chopard diamond earrings as well as a statement ring.

As for her glam, Gomez opted for an old-Hollywood hairdo that perfectly framed her fresh-faced makeup.

And the bride wasn’t the only star who Gomez was hoping to look good for. After all, the “Good for You” singer attended the ceremony with husband Benny Blanco by her side, who opted for a simple black tuxedo.

Gomez’s attendance comes as no surprise considering Swift played a pivotal part in her Sept. 27 wedding to Blanco, making a speech about the happy couple during the reception.

And when it comes to Swift and Kelce, both 36, Gomez has been one of the couple’s biggest cheerleaders from the start, celebrating their August 2025 engagement on her Instagram Stories and writing, "When bestie gets engaged.”

It was a full circle moment for Gomez, 33, and Swift as the “Fate of Ophelia” singer had written to Gomez on X—formerly Twitter—in 2009, "Real love still happens sometimes. It's not just something we make up when we're nine. I have to believe that. You do too."

Following Swift’s engagement, a fan reposted the message with side-by-side photos of Gomez and Swift’s proposals, saying, "16 years later," which Gomez reshared to her Instagram Story.

Gomez and Swift’s friendship first began in the late aughts when Gomez briefly dated Nick Jonas and Swift was dating Joe Jonas, who the Grammy winner split from in 2008.

“Everything was cute, we were young,” Gomez shared during an appearance on Therapuss in August. “She and I like to say the best thing we got out of those relationships was each other because it was really sweet.”

“At that age we became best friends—bonded over the breakup, as girls do,” she recalled. “And then we just stuck around for all the ups and downs that came after, and here we are now 16 years later.”

And the feeling of instant friendship was certainly there for Swift.

“I knew from when I met her I would always have her back," she told WSJ. Magazine in 2020. “In my life, I have the ability to forgive people who have hurt me. But I don’t know if I can forgive someone who hurts her.”
