VIDEO: Burna Boy acquires custom Bugatti Chiron

Popular Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has taken delivery of a one-of-one custom Venuum Widebody Bugatti Chiron, reportedly valued at over ₦9 billion.

In a post shared by Venuum on Instagram on Saturday, “Happy birthday, Burna Boy! Today we’ve made your dream a reality a one-of-a-kind Bugatti Chiron VXX Special Edition just for you. It’s a masterpiece that is sure to make waves around the world. Sending you a big hug from the Venuum family.”

The Grammy-winning artiste reportedly splashed the huge sum on the bespoke hypercar to mark his birthday celebrations.

Burna Boy had earlier dropped hints on social media about wanting “A Bugatti Venuum Chiron, something one of one, diamonds on the car and the key holder,” building anticipation among fans for months.

The vehicle, customised by Dubai-based luxury car modification firm Venuum, is said to be the world’s first widebody Bugatti Chiron and one of the most expensive privately owned cars in West Africa.

Venuum had also announced on their Instagram in May 2026 that it was “creating the world’s first Widebody for the Bugatti Chiron.A one-of-one project built for someone very special to us, a member of the VENUUM family who is achieving massive success worldwide.”

Burna Boy, fondly called the African Giant by his teeming fans, delivered a memorable performance at AfroNation Portugal on July 3, 2026, in Portimão, shortly after celebrating his 35th birthday on July 2.

The energetic set, which featured hits such as ‘Ye’ and ‘Bundle By Bundle’, saw him reflect emotionally on his roots in Port Harcourt, noting that many of his childhood friends did not live to see this milestone.

Social media users reacted excitedly to the development. “Odogwu no be nickname,” posted #wavesntwrk while sharing the unveiling footage.

Others expressed awe at the flex. “One-of-one Bugatti worth ₦9bn……. Burna bought a national budget item,” #UsmanKyarie quipped.

The Bugatti joins Burna Boy’s fleet of exotic rides, which includes a Lamborghini Revuelto and a Rolls-Royce Spectre, among others, as the singer has consistently showcased his passion for high-end automobiles over the years.

As the Afrobeats superstar continues to dominate globally with his music and lifestyle, this latest acquisition further cements his status as one of Africa’s biggest entertainers living large.
