The body of a boy, believed to be aged four, has been found in a home on New South Wales's Central Coast.
Police said a 32-year-old woman presented to Wyong Police Station about 4:40pm on Saturday, which triggered a concern for welfare.
When officers arrived at the Wyong property they found the body of a child with significant arm injuries.
Police said the 32-year-old woman, who was known to the child, was arrested and taken into police custody.
A crime scene was established, and the homicide squad has been called in to assist investigations.
Police are expected to provide further information later today.
