Waves Media has announced the expansion of its flagship television programme, WAVESPLUS, to Galaxy Television, marking a major milestone in its growth and audience reach across Nigeria.
For over six years, the show has aired consistently on Lagos Television, building a loyal viewership through its engaging blend of entertainment, lifestyle and interactive content. The programme has also attracted strong audience participation nationwide, receiving no fewer than 50 email responses weekly through its trivia segment.
With its latest expansion, the programme will now air simultaneously on both Lagos Television and Galaxy Television, a move the organisation says is driven by rising demand for its content and a strategic push to broaden its national footprint.
According to Waves Media, the development goes beyond platform expansion, representing the continued evolution of the brand and its commitment to deepening its presence in Nigeria’s media space while delivering greater value to viewers, sponsors, advertisers and partners.

The management noted that the expansion reflects its broader vision to adapt to an evolving media landscape by forging stronger partnerships and creating content that resonates with audiences across different generations.
Waves Media also expressed appreciation to its viewers, sponsors, advertisers and partners, describing their support as central to the programme’s sustained growth and success.
The company described the new phase as the beginning of “greater possibilities and opportunities” for the brand.
