
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Lagos State Council, has conferred a Certificate of Credence on media practitioner, Iyabo Aina, in recognition of her contributions to the growth and development of the Correspondents’ Chapel.
According to a statement shared with Society Plus, the honour was presented on Saturday, June 27, and was signed by the Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel, Abraham Akpabio, alongside the Chapel Secretary, David Odunayo, who both commended Aina for her selfless commitment and consistent support for the chapel’s activities.

According to the union, the certificate is a special recognition reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and service to the journalism community. It said Aina was recognised for her role in strengthening the Correspondents’ Chapel under the Lagos State Council of the NUJ and contributing to its unity and progress.
The body said the award reflects its continued commitment to honouring individuals and stakeholders who exemplify professionalism, excellence and dedication to the advancement of journalism practice in the state.
