Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered in the Murray River on the New South Wales-Victoria border this morning.
Emergency services were called to River Road, Barooga, about 266 kilometres north-east of Melbourne, shortly after 8:15am after reports of a body in the river.
State Emergency Service crews and NSW Police attended the scene with the man's body recovered about two hours later.
NSW Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the death.
The man is yet to be formally identified and police said a report would be prepared for the coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
