
Maltese athlete Bianca Shoemake has produced one of the country’s standout athletics performances of the year, setting three national records with a sensational hammer throw of 53.70 metres during a competition in Cyprus.
The remarkable throw saw Shoemake break the Senior, Under-23 and Under-20 Maltese national records in a single performance.
The achievement marks a major milestone for the rising field athlete, whose years of hard work and dedication have culminated in a breakthrough performance on the international stage.
Shoemake’s record-breaking throw also strengthens her position ahead of future international competitions, where she will look to build on her impressive form while continuing to fly the Maltese flag.
