Taylor Swift Explains “Huge” 1,000-Person Guest List for Travis Kelce Wedding
Gaps are being filled in the blank spaces of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
Two days after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the Grammy winner tied the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York City July 3, new footage captured from inside the arena revealed how the couple created a wedding venue that’ll never go out of style.
In footage obtained by Daily Mail, the inside of MSG appeared to be completely transformed as one clip showed Swift and Kelce’s monogram displayed on a wall.
Beside the custom design with their first initials, pictures of the newlyweds encased in gold frames took up residence on the walls, while the rest of the room boasted a stunning peach color, which was also featured on fabric draping the ceiling.
Meanwhile, a separate clip captured how a corner of the arena was transformed into a romantic garden, reminiscent of the location where Kelce popped the question to Swift last August.
While blue curtains covered most of the venue’s seating, the chairs that were exposed got a makeover with cream covers, also tying into the couple’s nature-filled décor.
In front of the seats, plants completely covered the floor of MSG as a large stone-like structure stood front and center, presumably where Swift and Kelce said their I Do’s.
Though Swift and Kelce, both 36, have yet to share any of their own photos from the big day, multiple guests have spoken out about how the wedding was out of their wildest dreams.
Indeed, AMC CEO Adam Aron—who was one of 1,000 guests in attendance for the nuptials—detailed exactly what it was like to celebrate Swift and Kelce’s love story.

“It did not look like Madison Square Garden,” he wrote in a since-deleted X post. “Immediately upon entry, everything... floors, walls, ceilings... was draped in peach and white. Large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year from one year-old to late teenager-hood, were on display.”
“A small portion of MSG was cordoned off, devoid of any notion that that a basketball or hockey game ever shared that space,” he continued. “Somehow magically, someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.”
But the massive space and guest list—which also included Adam Sandler, who officiated the wedding—didn’t have anyone looking for a getaway car. After all, it was easy for guests to forget they were in the legendary arena thanks to the cozy atmosphere the couple curated.
“The ceremony was great, moving. Adam Sandler, funny and touching,” Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos shared in a statement to ABC News July 4. “Vows, everything you would hope for, real, vulnerable, serious and silly. Deeply loving. Who knew that a wedding in Madison Square Garden could be so intimate?”
