
LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — A reported school shooting threat posted on social media has raised alarm among parents and residents on Olango Island in Lapu-Lapu City.
The post, made on Monday morning by an individual using the username “Leonido Inoc,” appeared to target Nemesio-Epifania Taneo Memorial High School (NETMHS) in Barangay Tingo. It referenced a recent shooting incident in Tacloban City while expressing anger over the alleged bullying of the user’s sibling.

Several parents expressed concern over the safety of their children. Some residents also shared the message and called on authorities to take immediate action to ensure the safety of students and school personnel.
The post referenced the shooting at San Jose National High School in Tacloban City in June, where three students were killed.
The incident has heightened public concern about school safety and prompted renewed calls for authorities to respond swiftly to any reported threats.
