Jakarta (ANTARA) - Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) under Indonesia's Ministry of Finance (MoF) ready to bring micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the plantation sector with potential business partners, investors, and communities in developing businesses on plantation commodities.
Head of Community Cooperation and MSME Division at the Agency, Helmi Muhansah, said his team committed to supporting the development of plantation-based MSMEs through various programmes aimed at enhancing business capacity, expanding market access, and strengthening downstream process.
"Indonesia’s plantation commodities have great potential to be developed into value-added products," Muhansah said in a statement received here in Jakarta on Monday.

He added the Agency's strategy involves bringing MSME players in the plantation sector with investors and potential business partners through the Info Franchise & Business Concept (IFBC) exhibition, themed "Grow Beyond Boundaries", which was held at the Jogja Expo Centre, Yogyakarta, on July 3-5.
The participation also served as testament to the agency’s commitment to improve the capacity of MSME actors to boost the added value of plantation commodities under Indonesia’s broader downstreaming agenda.
"This event provided momentum for BPDP to bring together plantation-based MSMEs with prospective business partners, investors, and community members interested in developing businesses based on plantation commodities," he explained.
The official further noted IFBC as a strategic venue to introduce Indonesia’s featured plantation commodities to entrepreneurs, investors, and the wider public.
