Ferrari's Charles Leclerc said he has
got his mojo back after notching his first victory since 2024
with his triumph at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on
Sunday.
The victory was also the Italian glamour team's 250th in Formula
One and the Monegasque driver claimed it at the same circuit
where José Froilán González won its first in 1951.
The 28-year-old took control of the race from the off, taking
the lead from second on the grid from Italian polesitter and
championship leader Kimi Antonelli, who failed to finish the
race due to a technical problem with his Mercedes.
"I felt like I had found something between the Sprint and
Qualifying but I had to confirm that today," Leclerc said after
the race.
"And today, the feeling was back where it needs to be. I'm so
incredibly happy."
Leclerc's teammate, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton,
came third on Sunday.
Antonelli leads the drivers standings with 179 points, 25 more
than his teammate George Russell, who came second at
Silverstone.
Hamilton is third with 147 points while Leclerc is fourth with
108.
