In enhancing the meat industry’s talent pool, the pilot program aims to train up to 50 participants by year-end through Tesda-accredited courses.
“By opening Tarlac Meatmasters for hands-on training, we hope to give aspiring professionals the opportunity to build practical skills while learning the discipline and food safety practices that define our operations,” Aboitiz Foods Assistant Technical Director for Meats Operations Josh Douglas said.
“Exposure to Pilmico’s benchmarks in animal nutrition, modern biosecurity, and cold chain management gives students a competitive edge in both domestic and overseas markets,” IVTSI president and CEO Roy Aldous Bautista said.
