Featuring exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes access and never-before-seen moments, the documentary promises an intimate look at the people behind the badge and the challenges they faced on and off the pitch.
Executive Producer Ben Camille said the project is about giving Maltese football the recognition it deserves.
“Football has always been a huge part of my life. This project aligns closely with a goal I am passionate about pursuing through our media companies: giving Maltese footballers and athletes the platform, recognition, and respect they deserve, while providing our younger generation with local role models they can look up to and aspire to become.”
Executive Producer Christian Gravina, a lifelong Valletta FC supporter, described the documentary as a long-awaited passion project.
“This documentary will be the first of its kind in Malta, offering a unique and compelling insight into the club’s story and legacy. It is a production that no football fan should miss.”
The creative team at VSQUARED said football offers some of the most powerful stories because of the raw emotion it brings out in people.
“It is where you see people stripped to their rawest forms; hoping, grieving, believing. That human truth is what makes this story so powerful.”
The documentary marks a major step forward for sports storytelling in Malta, aiming to showcase the drama, emotion and history of local football to audiences in a way never seen before.
More details, including the official release date and where viewers will be able to watch the series, are expected to be announced in the coming months.
