
CEBU CITY, Philippines — SR & T Industrial Supply and Landlite both notched their fifth wins in six games to move into a share of the lead as the elimination round of the Cebu Architects Basketball Club (CABC) 8th Corporate Cup nears its conclusion.
SR & T defeated Boysen Paint, 78-67, while Landlite cruised past Davies Paints, 57-40, to improve to identical 5-1 win-loss records.
SR & T leaned on Chester Hinagdanan, who posted a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds, along with two assists and two steals. Criz Matunog added 19 points in the victory.

Boysen Paint put up a fight behind three players who scored at least 19 points. Lemuel Aspacio finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds, Pido Sanchez tallied 19 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, while Justin Aspacio chipped in 22 points.
The loss dropped Boysen Paint to 4-2 in the standings.
Landlite, meanwhile, relied on a balanced attack led by Genre Soriano, who finished with 13 points and seven rebounds, while Winston Pedaria added 12 points in the comfortable win.
Davies Paints got 14 points from Charles Dave Villasencio and 12 points and eight rebounds from Jeffrey Basallo but still slipped to a disappointing 1-5 record.
In another game, Corr Chem climbed back to .500 with a 74-65 victory over Elite Athletics.
Jyrell Allanic starred for Corr Chem with a dominant double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds while also contributing two assists, one steal, and one block. Kent Tauto-an and James Nacario chipped in 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Elite Athletics was paced by Joefar Gerundio, who recorded 20 points and 15 rebounds. The loss dropped the squad to 0-6, leaving it on the verge of finishing its campaign winless.
In the day’s highest-scoring contest, EZ Pavers outlasted Modern Windows, 102-93.
John Therese Buhawe delivered the top individual performance of the day, erupting for 48 points and 14 rebounds while adding two steals and one assist. James Airo Alob contributed 15 points for EZ Pavers, which improved to 4-2.
Modern Windows drew big performances from Zach Go, who finished with 29 points and 13 rebounds, Anthony Bajenting, who scored 28 points, and Gerald Lentorio, who added 18 points. Despite the trio’s efforts, Modern Windows fell to 2-4.
The final elimination-round games are scheduled for July 12 at the same venue.
