Ellen Adarna opens up on being called 'Losyang'

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Ellen Adarna was not spared from being told she is out of shape after giving birth.

Ellen shared this with Alex Gonzaga and Arci Muñoz in the recent vlog by Alex.

The trio started the vlog by cooking adobong manok while talking about their lives now that they are in their 30s.

Alex shared her joys of being pregnant, Ellen shared her life as a single mother, and Arci shared how she’s enjoying the single life at 37.

Mealtime stories

After cooking, the three sat down and enjoyed their chicken adobo while still sharing stories they all laughed at.

And at some point, Ellen shared that she was called “losyang” or shabby by someone in her past.

This started when Ellen spoke to Mikee, Alex’s husband behind the camera, telling him not to call Alex “losyang” after giving birth.

“ELLEN: Hoy, Mikee ha pag nanganak na si Alex wa mong sabihang losyang na siya ha. Ako napagsabihan na akong losyang.

ALEX: Ba’t ka naman na sabihan nga losyang ano bang itsura mo?

ARCI: Ganon ang mga narcissist, i-dadown ka nila.

ELLEN: Losyang na daw ako wala na daw papatol sa’kin kasi ang law-law na daw nang ano ko, tapos losyang na daw.”

Ellen recalled the incident with humor, turning what was once a hurtful remark into part of a lighthearted conversation.
