Lewis Hamilton Makes Rare Comment About Girlfriend Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian has Lewis Hamilton's heart racing.

The F1 driver broke his silence on his blossoming romance with the SKIMS founder after months of refusing to discuss his personal life publicly.

During a fan Q&A ahead of the British Grand Prix on July 3, the interviewer pointed out that Hamilton appeared to be a "much happier man this year," before someone else on stage asked if that was because of his "fast car or new girlfriend."

And he didn’t race away from addressing the quip.

"That's a good one," Hamilton responded, as seen in footage shared on social media. "Once you spend a year with this team, Ferrari is still the most iconic team of all-time. You know, they've had a difficult period of time. It's such an amazing team, and they've been so welcoming."

"The first year was obviously very tough," the Ferrari driver, who played third behind teammate Charles LeClerc and Mercedes’ George Russell at the July 5 event, went on, "but for us to finally see the hard work that we've all been putting in get us back to where we want to be and of course, of course, Kim."

The 41-year-old's acknowledgement of Kardashian follows his refusal to answer questions about her and their relationship status. In fact, at the 2026 Super Bowl, emphasized, per Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz, "It’s my private life. I’m not talking about that."

The seven-time Formula 1 champ had previously explained why he's so reticent to discuss his private life on his massive platform.

"Yes, it's very complicated, especially in today's world," Hamilton—who previously dated Nicole Scherzinger and was linked to Gigi Hadid, Rita Ora and Sofia Richie Grainge—told RTBF in 2025. "I see other drivers and I wonder how they manage: Some have children, are married, have girlfriends. I went through that in my twenties. I made a different choice: I decided to maximize the time I have here because it's shorter than people think. I don't want any regrets, or to think I could have given more."

And, while the Kardashians star has also not publicly confirmed her romance with Hamilton, she did recently hard launch their relationship on Instagram.

In a June 1 post simply captioned "lately," the 45-year-old could be seen riding bikes with Hamilton along New York City's West Side Highway.
