Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Guest Who Caught the Bouquet Revealed
At every table, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shared their friends a seat.
Days after the couple tied the knot July 3 in a star-studded Madison Square Garden ceremony, the Kansas City Chiefs player’s childhood friend Ashish Ferguson shared a glimpse of his invitation.
In a July 6 Instagram post, Ferguson—whose brother Kumar Ferguson has been Kelce’s personal chef for 10 years—shared a screenshot of the invitation, which included a watermark featuring his name over a watercolor painting of a sunset around greenery.
True to the rumors flying around the Kelce and Swift’s ceremony, the invitation only included “Manhattan” and “early evening” as details along with the July 3 date for their party. The invite also had what has been revealed as the couple’s wedding logo—two T’s connected by two hearts—as well as a sweet note signing off, “Love, Taylor and Travis.”
Meanwhile, the revealed invitation also puts to rest the mystery of the true dress code for Kelce and Swift’s white veiled occasion, as it included the parameter, “black tie.”
And despite their simplicity, their invites just might have a personal touch from the couple. Throughout her career, Swift has often shown off her watercolor skills on social media and gifting friends pieces of her art work.
In 2014, she shared a photo of her impressive still life on Instagram between 1989 shows, adding in the caption of a since-deleted post, “So far this week, all I want to do is paint and all I want to paint are watercolor flowers.” (E! News has reached out to reps for Swift regarding confirmation on whether she did, in fact, hand paint the invites.)
While Swift and Kelce are still in the lavender haze of their wedding day, some details have come out through guests in the days since Swift said “I do,” and Kelce did too.
For one, the newlyweds tapped Adam Sandler to act as the officiant for their ceremony and opted to include only their brothers Austin Swift and Jason Kelce as part of the official bridal party.
As guests continue to share tight recaps of the evening, Kelce’s coach Andy Reid shared one piece of advice the Happy Gilmore star gave to the couple: never stop kissing.
"It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss," Reid explained in a July 5 press conference. "Make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out, and you won't have problems.”
