
Stransact Chartered Accountants has launched a graduate talent initiative targeting outstanding final-year students from 20 Nigerian universities listed in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026.
According to a statement, the Stransact Honours Roll will recognise five exceptional graduating students from each of the selected institutions with cash awards and admission into the firm’s Stransact Talent Vault, a graduate development programme.
The selected universities are Ahmadu Bello University, Afe Babalola University, Babcock University, Bayero University, Kano, Covenant University, Delta State University, Ekiti State University, the Federal University of Technology, Akure, the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Lagos State University, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, and Obafemi Awolowo University.
Others are the University of Benin, the University of Ibadan, the University of Jos, the University of Lagos, the University of Ilorin, the University of Uyo, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and the University of Nigeria.
The programme will cover students in the fields of sciences, mathematics, engineering and technology, business and accounting, and law and humanities.

According to the statement, each recipient will receive N100,000, formal recognition under the Stransact Honours Roll, and an invitation to join the Stransact Talent Vault, which provides practical skills development and professional exposure.
The firm, which is part of RSM International, said the initiative is designed to build a pipeline of future talent for the accounting and professional services industry.
University administrators commended the initiative, describing it as a contribution to human capital development and graduate employability. The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof Wahab Egbewole, said, “This laudable initiative will undoubtedly motivate students towards academic excellence and positive contributions to society.”
While acknowledging the inclusion of the University of Ilorin among the selected institutions, Egbewole added that “this recognition serves as an encouragement to the University community to continue striving for excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and service delivery.”
He further said, “While thanking you for this initiative, we urge you to sustain this, as contribution to education is but an unquantifiable investment in humanity.”
