“See You at Work Tomorrow!” lead stars Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun reflected on the office romance’s central theme, delving on how it depicts a realistic journey of an individual navigating work and love.
Seo and Park respectively portray the characters of Kang Si-woo and Cha Ji-yoon, a boss and an employee who sparked an unexpected chemistry between them as they rediscover excitement in both work and love.
“I really enjoyed reading the script because the characters were very compelling, and I could clearly see how each of them would grow,” Seo said in an exclusive interview with Inquirer Entertainment.

“I was drawn to the journey of a character who is blunt and seems, to anyone, like someone who does not really understand love, gradually experiencing love and seeing the things he prioritizes begin to change,” he continued, crediting the project’s “clear emotional arc” as what made him say yes to taking on the role.
Park likewise found the script interesting, noting how she was able to relate to the situation her character was in.
“Not only was the script itself very interesting, but it also told a realistic story that felt like something everyone may have experienced, so I thought many people would be able to relate to it,” she said.
“Work and love are often the biggest priorities in life, but at times, they can also feel like difficult assignments we are left to figure out. I wanted to portray the everyday details within this story as naturally as possible,” she stated.

Further comparing their personal experiences to their characters’ journeys, the actors underscored the importance of having positive relationships in the workplace.
“No matter what I do, I tend to place more meaning on the process than the result. Especially because the reason I continue working as an actor is that the process of acting itself is enjoyable and makes me happy, I think it would be mentally very difficult if the environment were not positive. However, I also think it is necessary to try to look at any environment in a positive way,” Park said.

Seo, for his part, said he makes it a point to always find an aspect that will spark joy in his working environment. “Thankfully, this set was a very pleasant environment to work in.”
This approach in general, Seo said, also helps him overcome burnout in his career.
“I think burnout can come no matter what kind of work you do. Burnout is something you want to avoid, but once it comes, I think you somehow have to let it pass,” he said. “In those moments, I try to find the small things in my life that can help me get through the hard times. I guess that could be my own way of dealing with it.”
Aside from Seo and Park, “See You at Work Tomorrow!” also stars Kang Mi-na who brings to life the character of Yoon No-ah.
“I thought Kang Mi-na was an incredibly lovely, bright and sharp actor… In real life, she also had such a cute and quick-witted charm. Because of that, we had great chemistry while acting together,” Park said.
