Let’s face it: buying concert tickets can be really, really stressful. From long virtual queues that freeze, scalpers and bots hoarding tickets and selling them at outrageous prices, and hidden fees and dynamic pricing that are through the roof, scoring a ticket can feel like stepping into a war zone. You never know whether you’ll come out of it victorious or completely defeated.
But fans can now snag concert tickets without going through all the hassle—all thanks to Spotify’s new feature, Reserved.
With Reserved, Spotify identifies an artist’s most dedicated fans, providing them with the ability to score at least two tickets to their favorite artist’s show before the general sale goes live.
The Reserved feature is available to Spotify Premium subscribers, and eligibility is based on various signals, including streams, sales, shares, and location. Once users are informed of their eligibility, two concert tickets are reserved for them to purchase through Ticketmaster for a dedicated time frame.
According to Spotify, tickets are only reserved for the tour overall and not for a particular concert date or location. This means that fans still need to choose a date, location, and seats. Unclaimed Reserved tickets, however, will be made available to the next most dedicated eligible fans.
The Reserved program kicked off with American singer ROLE MODEL, who has just announced his global tour for 2026–2027.
