Blake Lively no-show at Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding

It appears the strained friendship between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively has completely gone sour as the “Gossip Girl” star was noticeably absent from the award-winning singer-songwriter’s grand wedding to NFL player Travis Kelce.

Lively and her husband, “Deadpool” actor Ryan Reynolds, were not in attendance at Swift and Kelce’s Madison Square Garden ceremony last July 3 that was reportedly witnessed by around 1,000 guests.

According to a report by foreign entertainment outlet TMZ, Lively and Reynolds were at a local farm in Lake Placid, New York at the time of the wedding. The celebrity parents were reportedly in the farm to support their daughter Betty—Swift’s goddaughter—who competed at a horse show.

Swift and Lively’s falling out started after the former was dragged into latter’s publicized legal feud with her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director Justin Baldoni. Lively sued Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment, while the latter countersued the actress and Reynolds whom he accused of defamation and extortion.

The now-settled legal battle exposed texts between Swift and Lively—which included conversations about Baldoni as well as remarks from Lively comparing herself to “Game of Thrones” character Khaleesi and referring to Swift as one of her “dragons.”

Among the former close friends’ last public appearances together was when they watched Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2024 to support Kelce’s team Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite Lively’s absence, Swift and Kelce’s wedding nonetheless remained star-studded, with hundreds of celebrities present to cheer for the newlyweds.
