Malta’s fashion scene is set for a major milestone today as Maltese designer Luke Azzopardi, the creative director of Azzopardi studio, makes his debut as a couturier at Paris Fashion Week.
Azzopardi will unveil his new couture collection, Salomé, in the stunning surroundings of the Gustave Moreau Museum in Paris, marking his first official couture presentation on one of fashion’s most prestigious international stages.
The showcase has been supported by Arts Council Malta as part of ongoing efforts to promote Maltese creative talent abroad, bringing local design to a global audience.
The event has also been backed by the Embassy of Malta in France, the Permanent Delegation of Malta to UNESCO, the Malta Crafts Foundation, Alliance, Virgata Group, KM Malta Airlines and luxury footwear house Manolo Blahnik.
Luke Azzopardi has built a reputation for blending contemporary fashion with artistic storytelling, and Salomé represents another significant step in his career as he joins the ranks of designers presenting during Paris Fashion Week.
The debut is being celebrated as a landmark moment for Maltese fashion, placing local creativity firmly on one of the world’s biggest and most influential fashion platforms.
