A total of 79 Żibel volunteers removed more than 430kg of waste during a community cleanup on Saturday, helping restore parts of Bugibba’s coastline.
The environmental NGO shared a behind-the-scenes video highlighting the effort, which saw dozens of volunteers come together to collect rubbish from both land and sea.
The initiative forms part of Żibel’s ongoing mission to keep Malta’s coastline clean, with the organisation thanking everyone who dedicated their Saturday to making a difference.
“This is what people power looks like,” Żibel said, celebrating the volunteers’ efforts after another successful cleanup.
Huge well done to everyone who volunteered!
