MANILA, – Budget carrier Cebu Pacific won a trademark case against travel booking platform MOVE after a Malaysian court barred the company from selling the airline’s flights without authorization.
In a statement on Tuesday, Cebu Pacific said the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur ruled in its favor in a lawsuit filed in June 2024. The court found MOVE liable for passing off by using the Cebu Pacific and Cebgo trademarks without the airline’s permission.
