
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, on Tuesday congratulated former First Lady of the state, Ambassador Florence Ajimobi, on the presentation of her Copie d’Usage to the Chief of Protocol of the Republic of Austria, Ambassador Maximilian Hennig.
Alli, who currently represents Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, described the development in a statement issued in Ibadan, the state capital, as “a significant milestone and a source of pride to the state and Nigeria.”
He said, “The diplomatic advancement reflected Ambassador Ajimobi’s commitment to service, integrity and exemplary leadership over the years.”
The APC governorship candidate commended the former first lady and wife of the late former governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi, for her consistency in promoting excellence, compassion and purposeful leadership.
Alli added, “Ambassador Ajimobi has remained a strong source of inspiration to women and emerging leaders through her resilience, humility and dedication to humanity.

He expressed confidence that Ajimobi would record outstanding success in her diplomatic assignment in Austria.
The APC governorship candidate, therefore, prayed for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for her as she begins another phase of national service.
“We celebrate this remarkable achievement with Her Excellency and wish her a successful and impactful diplomatic tenure,” Alli said.
