MANILA, Philippines – Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) has turned over a 6,000-square-meter property in Bicutan to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) paving the way for the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project.
On Tuesday, the Gotianun-led property developer said the site will host the future Bicutan Station, a major interchange between the 147-kilometer NSCR and the Metro Manila Subway Project.

The station will use a unidirectional track-sharing design that will allow Metro Manila Subway trains to run on the NSCR line, creating a continuous rail link connecting Clark, Metro Manila and Calamba.

Meanwhile, FLI will build the Filinvest Pedestrian Link to connect the station to its adjacent 6.5-hectare property and future developments. The project includes an elevated pedestrian bridge across the East Service Road, linked to a covered ground-level walkway leading directly to the station.
FLI said the link will provide commuters with a safer, more convenient connection to the station while protecting them from the elements.
“We believe that a progressive economy relies heavily on robust infrastructure,” said Tristan Las Marias, president and CEO of FLI.
He noted that the project would also improve transport links to urban growth centers and nearby residential communities.

The integrated station will serve about one million passengers daily once completed, connecting the Metro Manila Subway with NSCR commuter and limited express services. /pai INQ
