Lota Cool Market returns to Portimão from July 15 to 19, bringing five evenings of creativity, food, music and family entertainment to the area beside the city’s former fish auction building.
The free-entry summer event, organised by Teia D’Impulsos in partnership with Portimão council, will run daily from 6pm to 1am next to the Antiga Lota, by the Arade river.
Dozens of artisans, designers, artists, regional producers and independent brands will take part, offering everything from illustration, ceramics and jewellery to fashion, decoration and art.
Food will also be a major attraction, with street food, reinvented traditional flavours, vegetarian options, handmade sweets, regional products and craft drinks.
Live music will feature Ruben Lameira, TiAGO – Celebration Show, Ally Garrido Collective, The Protons, Yes MAM and Gonçalo Rosa, alongside DJ sets throughout the evenings.
The programme also includes children’s entertainment, dance by PTM Dance Studio, batucada and a performance by IsmaTUNA.
The official opening takes place on July 15 at 9pm, with a special performance by Mulher do Fogo, accompanied by Gonçalo Rosa.
Visitors are encouraged to bring reusable cups, as sustainability remains a key focus of the event.
