LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Ma. Cynthia ‘Cindi’ King-Chan has instructed authorities to investigate a reported school shooting threat targeting a public high school in Barangay Tingo, Olango Island.
On Monday morning, July 6, 2026, a Facebook account using the username “Leonido Inoc” posted a message expressing anger over the alleged bullying of the user’s sibling.
The post appeared to target Nemesio-Epifania Taneo Memorial High School (NETMHS) in Barangay Tingo and referenced a recent shooting incident in Tacloban City.
