
MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in Quezon City were flooded on Tuesday evening due to rainshowers, the Quezon City local government unit (LGU) reported.
In an advisory, the QC LGU said that the following roads experienced flooding as of 9 p.m.:

Meanwhile, in a separate advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority reported gutter-deep flooding in Elliptical Kalayaan in Quezon City and Edsa Ortigas service road in Mandaluyong City as of 9:05 p.m.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 8 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Quezon City is experiencing intense to torrential rains with lightning and strong winds and may persist within the next two hours. The same weather conditions are also prevailing over other areas in Metro Manila and parts of Luzon. /jpv
