Simone Biles always sticks the landing when it comes to defending herself.

After sharing a glimpse from her and Jonathan Owens’ date night at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding on July 3, a follower questioned why the gymnast and her husband would have made the guest list.

As the user wrote under Biles’ July 6 Instagram post, “When has Simone Biles and Taylor Swift even spoken to each other?”

To which the Olympian vaulted into action, reminding social media trolls that her social circle is more flexible than they might think.

“Remember this,” she replied, “I only show ya’ll what I want ya’ll to know.”

In the post, Biles, 29, and Owens, 30, proved they were ready for the next chapter in Swift and Kelce’s love story by sporting coordinating maroon outfits.

For the couple’s big day, Biles donned a textured halter-neck gown that featured a half train.

Meanwhile, Owens donned black dress pants, a white button-down shirt and a crushed velvet jacket that perfectly matched Biles’ dress.

“The perfect love story,” Biles captioned the post, adding a nod to the newlyweds’ monogram, “followed by the perfect nighTT.”

Biles’ attendance at the Grammy winner and NFL star’s enchanted wedding comes nearly one month after sharing she almost died from an undisclosed medical emergency.

“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age,” she wrote over a photo of herself wearing three hospital bracelets on Instagram Stories June 6, “but almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week.”

“This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life,” she explained, “especially since Jonathan was in Indy for practices.”

Though she wasn’t ready to detail the health scare publicly, the athlete kept fans in the know about her recovery.

“I’ve been in bed resting this week, I’ll explain sooner or later but s/o to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited & or sent flowers,” she continued. “Loooovveeee y’all.”
