Special military operation decision forced, as EU, US did not listen to Russia — Kremlin

GENEVA, July 7. /TASS/. The decision to carry out the special military operation was forced, since neither Europe nor the United States would listen to Russia, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with the Swiss magazine Die Weltwoche.

"It had to be taken due to the experience of negotiating with the European capitals and with the United States. So as soon as you understand that no one would listen to you, you take firm steps," the Kremlin spokesman said.
