
MANILA, Philippines — Several schools across Metro Manila were suspended on Wednesday, July 8, due to heavy rainfall brought by the effects of Super Typhoon Inday.

Classes have either been suspended or shifted to alternative modes of learning in the following areas:

Meanwhile, schools in Malabon City shifted to alternative modes of learning, such as distance education, modular learning, or online classes.

Earlier, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned of heavy rainfall over parts of Visayas and Mindanao due to enhanced southwest monsoon, or habagat, as Inday entered the country early Wednesday.
Localized thunderstorms are forecast to bring gloomy skies and occasional rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, according to Pagasa.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported below to gutter deep flood over the following areas, as of 6:50 a.m.:

Brgy. Daanghari, Gov. Pascual going to Apahap St.
