
KORONADAL CITY — The provincial government of South Cotabato has activated the Provincial Incident Management Team (PIMT) as it prepares for the province’s 60th foundation anniversary and the 27th T’nalak Festival this month.
Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. ordered the Provincial Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) on heightened alert from June 27 until July 20.Rolly Doane Aquino, chief of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) and incident commander for the T’nalak Festival, said security and emergency preparations have been intensified as thousands of local and foreign visitors are expected to attend the celebration.

It will officially run from July 13 to 18.
