Kathmandu. The Government of Pakistan has announced scholarships for Nepali students to pursue engineering studies under the Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme (PTAP) for the 2026/27 academic session.
According to a notice issued by Nepal's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, a total of six scholarships are available in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, with two seats in each field, including one seat reserved for a female student in every subject.
To be eligible, applicants must have secured at least 60 percent marks in the Grade 12 or equivalent examination. They must also have been included in the merit list of the 2082 BS undergraduate entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk Campus. The ministry said the IOE merit list will serve as the basis for selection.
Eligible students can submit their applications online by 5:00 p.m. on 12 July through the designated application link.
Applicants are required to submit their Grade 12 transcript, Nepali citizenship certificate, and IOE Pulchowk entrance examination scorecard along with the application.
