Joy Barcoma says now taking offense at Kakai Bautista lookalike remarks

After Kakai Bautista defended Apple David’s relationship with 18-year-old Chad Gammad, Joy Barcoma, who some netizens said seemingly resembles the comedian, said she is no longer pleased with being likened to her.

Bautista earlier gave her two cents on the hate and the “grooming” accusations surrounding the relationship of David, 33, and Gammad amid their 15-year age gap.

The actress-comedian questioned the hate toward the couple, saying the public should redirect their ire to apparent mistresses who leech off of corrupt politicians. Bautista also welcomed the “enabler” tags after she aired her sentiments.

Barcoma chimed in through her X page last Saturday, July 4, sharing a screenshot of Bautista’s statement on the matter.

“Simula ngayon, mao-offend na ako ‘pag sinabing kamukha ko siya,” the beauty queen-TV host wrote. (From now on, I will be offended when people say I look like her.)

Addressing the comedian, she added, “Madam, what is this?”

One netizen reacted to Barcoma’s post, saying the former does not see the resemblance between the two celebrities.

“We have the same laugh daw kasi,” Barcoma explained.

“Yes, I never took offense naman before and I loved it kasi ikaw ba naman ang bet ni Mario Maurer,” she added, referring to the old rumors linking Bautista to the popular Thai actor.
