
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) said it arrested a national most wanted person during a manhunt operation in Misamis Occidental.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, July 8, operatives of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Misamis Occidental Field Unit found alias ‘Pete’ who has been evading arrest for 32 years in Barangay Baybay Triunfo, Ozamiz City.

He was served two warrants of arrest for multiple counts of murder by the Lanao del Norte court in connection with the 1993 attack in Tubod, Lanao del Norte that killed 4 people and severely injured one individual by using high-powered firearms.
